When you are beauty obsessed like myself, you find yourself trying out a multitude of brands and products whilst hunting down the best of the bunch. Over the years I’ve ventured away from my former love of MAC and branched out into more niche brands and start up companies. That being said, one thats always passed me by is Estée Lauder. Back in the day there was a brief love affair with their Double Wear Foundation, but since it’s never been a brand thats resonated with me or that I’ve gravitated towards. Luckily that wrong has swiftly been put to right as I’ve got a bundle of goodies in my grips waiting to undergo some rigorous beauty testing.

With recent appointment of Kendal Jenner as brand ambassador, have they embraced the younger target market and are their products actually any good? It’s time to get testing! Starting with base it’s the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Gelée Bronzer*. Ready and waiting to give you a natural looking glow, I mixed this in with my foundation of choice to impart a hint of colour without looking too OTT. The perfect product to amp up the glow for Spring, pair it with their new Pure Colour All-Over Illuminator* across the high points of your face and you will be left with a shimmering glow that looks irresistible.

Onto eyes and it’s all about the Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencils. Giving the shade 05 Pink Gold*12 Burgundy Suede* and 09 Electric Cobalt* a whirl, the long lasting and buttery formulas are a win in my book. Unfortunately the shade selection leaves something to be desired however Pearl has become the standout one for me thanks to it’s illuminating properties when applied to the inner corner of your eye. For lashes there is the Little Black Primer* and Sumptuous Extreme Mascara* that worn together give you some incredible volume and lift. The primer I could pass on but this mascara gives that instant wow factor that has left me hooked.

Lastly, lips, and another new launch in the form of the Pure Colour Envy Sculpting Shine Lipsticks. The packaging doesn’t immediately win me over however the magnetic lid is a nice touch. Instead it’s all down to formula and colour section which luckily is pretty darn impressive. With Inspiring* a muted purple and Surreal Sun* bright coral shade I’m wearing in the photos being the standout options to me, these have quickly won themselves a place in my everyday makeup stash and I can see me getting a lotta wear out of them both over the Summer months.

Are you a fan of the Estée Lauder brand? What are you favourites from them?
