Mint for Life

Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Varnish in Mint for Life – £4.09

Look at me loving another budget beauty buy – but what can I say I have entered nail varnish heaven. There is something about this Maybelline polish that has taken my breath away, so much so that all other options have been swotted away to the back of my cupboard. You all know I love a minty green but there is something about this that has captured my attention.

This is the first polish I’ve tried from the Forever Strong range, a new release from Maybelline that claims to give you a chip free manicure for seven days. This polish falls into the same bracket as the Rimmel Salon Pro polishes and the Barry M Gel Effects which are all on the market to give you chip free nails for as long as possible. Anything that promises to offer a long lasting manicure is worth a try in my books so these were next up on my list.

As you can see from my recent Boots Haul I opted for the colours Mint for Life and Hot Salsa. Unable to resist a soft green polish this was the first one I picked up and I’ve been hooked ever since. I know I’ve raved about the Essie Diffusion Polishes till I’ve gone blue in the face but these offerings from Maybelline are just as good, yup I’ve said it! I even prefer Mint for Life to the infamous Mint Candy Apple. There is something about the super thick brush, opaque finish and non chip formula that wins it for me. My only wish is that Maybelline release some more colours in the line as the current line-up leaves a little to be desired.
