Makeup Forever Hauling

Last bank holiday Monday (doesn’t that seem like a lifetime ago already?!) my parents and I hot footed it down to Brussels for the day. We got a plane in the morning and relaxed on a Eurostar home. Seems like a lot to do for a day but it was to celebrate my parents 25th wedding anniversary. It rained pretty much all day but we went for an amazing lunch and still managed to do a bit of exploring in the rain. One reason for our exploring was my mission to go to Makeup Forever. They have a boutique in Brussels and I got the address off my favourite Brussels blogger Marilou (who’s blog can be found here).
Finding this boutique however was a mission. It was pouring in rain, windy and my parents and I had managed to skill-ly miss every single turning for the street! After walking past the road oh a good 5 times we finally found it. After all the hunting I wanted to make sure that I made the most of my time in the boutique and also it was nice to finally be back in the dry and warm.
The main thing I wanted to picked up was the Mist & Fix Makeup Fixer Mist. I am a big fan of Model in a Bottle and have pretty much used it up but wanted to try the MUFE one as I believe it to be alcohol free. While I was there I picked up the Brush Cleanser as I need some more and happened to be in an MUFE store and not a MAC store! Then on a last minute ‘must buy some more’ whim I picked up an Aqua Shadow in 30E.

It’s pretty much like MAC’s All That Glitters but in pen form and waterproof – aka my perfect daily eyeshadow colour! It lasts really well on the lid and all I do is glide this on in the morning and then I’m good to go!

What are you favourite items from Makeup Forever? Have you tried any of things I got before?
