February Favourites

It’s that time of the month again where I bundle together the best beauty bits from the past four weeks. This month it’s a more refined bunch, reflecting the fact I am becoming more streamlined in my daily makeup and skincare picks. As much as I love trying something new, I’ve discovered a few products recently that have become staples meaning I just don’t want to stray from them! They are so good they have risen to the top and pushed out the competition. Take that old beauty bits!

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 15 Seductive Pink* – although the love for my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers reins on, this budget dupe has really given them a run for their money. Giving the same illuminated finish but for a fraction of the price, I’ve fallen head over heels for Seductive Pink, so much so it’s pushed my Hourglass fav to the slide. Take a look at this shade on my cheeks here.

Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser in 02* – full coverage foundations have been banished in my eyes, bring me the light and glowy bases! New favourite comes from Clinique and although it’s called a tinted moisturiser, this gives a great amount of natural coverage whilst providing hydration and glow from within. Take a look at the finish on my face here to see what all the fuss is about.

Essie Nail Polish in Maximillian Strasse – after remaining loyal to the shrine of Shellac before Christmas it’s been a while see a nail polish favourite has worked it’s way into my blog. Therefore the comeback had to be a goodun! This grey toned green is just that, take a look at a swatch on my nails here to see how gorgeous it really is.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial – this facial oil is a thing of true beauty. Putting it’s pretty astronomical price point aside I’ve never used a product that my skin has simply loved so quickly before. Containing a mix of vitamins, antioxidants, omega oils and brighteners, this light oil sinks into the skin to leave it feeling supple, smooth, hydrated and more even in texture. It really does deserve all the high praises it receives!

Pixi Glow Mist – the latest product to surface after the infamous Glow Tonic hysteria, this Glow Mist promises to leave your skin dewy and radiant after a couple of light spritzes. Enriched with natural oils, aloe vera and fruit extracts this helps to give a hydration boost to dry skin, removes that cakey layer of makeup when you’ve overpowered and gives your skin a boost throughout the day. Multi use and a joy to use – expect a full review pretty soon!
