Be Still my Beating Heart

If there is one thing and one thing only you get from today’s post – it is that you need to stalk the check-in for the next international flight overseas and beg the passenger to go to a Sephora and pick you up a NARS Narcissit Palette. Dramatic? A tad. But if you are from the UK and missed out on this rare and limited edition offering, it may be your only hope. Instead of getting barred from Heathrow and Gatwick I did the next best thing, went through a friend. Luckily for me and my makeup obsession I have a dear friend at work who happens to have an oh so wonderful boyfriend. Coinciding with a work trip to the States I managed to wangle a wish list across to him and the star that he was, he delivered. Needless to say, the rest is history and my heart has been beating that bit faster since.

You see dear friends, this impossible to buy palette is available with ease over in the States. Showing in stock online and available in store – your only barrier between you and said palette is a heck of a lotta water. So after multiple phone calls, order attempts online and waiting lists, was it all worth it? Without a doubt this palette is gorgeous. Totally indulgent, slightly overpriced and home of a few chalky shadows, I blame the hype when it comes to this. Having a few of the shadows on my wish list and after my And God Created the Woman palette has received a heap of love, it was hard to resist. By no means near a necessity purchase but for those makeup addicts out their or if you just love the brand, you will understand how I feel right now ;)
