HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had a brilliant evening seeing in 2014 and that this new year brings you everything you wish and hope for. Before we finish off the last of the ‘Best of 2013’ posts, I thought I would bring you a mini interlude with my December favourites. A smallish collection of those standout products that I have been loving for the month of December. In the mix are two lip products and a mask, look at me venturing out into new territories :P

L’Oreal Mythic Oil* – This little hair oil has been sitting on my wish list for far too long. One of those things I’ve always wanted to try but never got around to as there always seemed to be a hair oil in my collection that needed using up first. I’ve been using this for the second end of December and it does live up to the hype. It’s a really nourishing oil that doesn’t sit heavy on my hair or cause it to be weighed down. It helps to prevent frizz and you only need the smallest amount so I can imagine this bottle will go a long way.

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Roundest Raspberry* – I literally can not stop wearing this lip colour. Whether it’s for a night out, dinner with friends or even if I am just feeling a bit fancy before work, this gets applied. It’s the most gorgeous purple/berry shade and I think the reason I love it so is down to the fact that it’s a bold lip without being too in your face. It’s very easy to wear and super easy to apply.

Paul & Joe Gloss in 09 Bougainvillea* – Another lipstick love this shade has been my second in command when I’ve worn the Clinique option a tad too much. A gloss that isn’t sticky and with colour that is build-able this is a rich pink shade that doesn’t make you look like your face has been taken over by Barbie.

Paul & Joe Liquid Eye Liner* – I will try and make sure this is the last time I rave about this eyeliner as at the moment I just can’t stop. Ever since this liquid liner made it’s way into my life I have worn liner every single day. Not just a simple lash liner cover either, I have been sporting a daily cat eye flick and this is honestly something I never thought would happen. A dream to apply this gives instant dramatic black colour and the small nib means you get the most precise line without having to put in any work.

Glam Glow Mud Mask – A bit of a sneaky addition as I only received this mask for Christmas, but that being said I can already tell this will be a firm favourite. A charcoal based mask that tingles when first applied this instantly revitalises my skin and reduces any redness or blemishes. One of the few masks I see results straight after I’ve removed it.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – What I did before these powders I will never know. Their magic blurring properties are a dream and although this palette was a complete overindulgence purchase I am so glad I did. The shades inside and palette itself are gorgeous and I have also fallen head over heels for the limited edition shade too.
