Phytovolume Actif Spray – £15.50 | Caudalie Divine Legs – £26 | Boujois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Peach on the Beach – £7.99

Sometimes when you have a beauty product playing on your mind you suddenly find yourself standing in Space NK holding more then you bargained for. This happened the other week when I was debating whether to get the Caudalie Divine Legs. With an upcoming day festival looming my pasty pins needed a bit of oomph to say the least and my fear of Casper legs won. Next thing I knew the Divine Legs was mine (and a few sneaky other bits!)

If you have seen my new weekly feature ‘Super Saturdays’ last week was all about the super Caudalie Divine Legs. As I mentioned this is the grown up and sophisticated sister of the infamous Rimmel Sun Shimmer. Less glittery and streaky this gives the most lovely colour that leaves an instant sun kissed glow. I apply this with my hands and work it into my legs, I find this approach works best as you can really blend the product into your skin to ensure it looks seamless. There is no fan tan smell in sight and at the end of the day you can come home and wash it all away. The only slight problem is that it can get a little patchy in the heat due to your legs getting hot, but a light application ensures that no drastic patches pop up.

The second item I bought was on a complete whim. My holy grail volumising spray (the Philip Kingsley Maximizer don’t you know) has recently come to an end. Before I was able to repurchase another one this offering from Phyto caught my eye. The Phytovolume Actif Spray is a heat activated spray that boosts at the roots and claims to thicken each hair whilst maintaining volume throughout the day. So far I am not 100% sure whether this is as good if not better then my much loved Philip Kingsley spray but I do notice a different after using it. The jury is still out on this one!

The last item I picked up (which as I’m sure you can tell wasn’t from Space NK) was another shade of the Boujois Colour Lip Boost Crayons. I literally can not get enough of these! I got the shade Peach on the Beach which is a soft pastel pink colour. Worn alone this is a bit too much for me however I love it paired with a bright lip underneath as it tones it down whilst adding a slick of gloss.

Have you tried any of the above products before? What have your beauty splurges been?
