Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment – £5.69
Revlon Lip Butter in 047 Pink Lemonade & 027 Juicy Papaya – £7.99

I think I have a new addition – and its the drugstore. Currently my wallet is home to a stash of receipts from Boots and Superdrug documenting my recent purchases. As I am on the big save for LA (a much needed save as already my wish list is starting to hit the $400 mark!) I am on a ban from the beauty counters and am blocking any online websites that make me want to splurge. Sometimes when you are a beauty blogger and lover you can get into the habit of always being on the hunt for the latest thing. This understandably makes my bank balance weep in pain but it’s time like these that I rediscover a lot of drugstore loves and become more at one with those winners on the highstreet. When you need that fix of buying something new wow I really do sound like an addict the drugstores offer some brilliant offers that don’t break the bank.

My most recent dash into Boots resulted in the above haul. I love Revlon Lip Butters and when I saw on the grapevine that new colours had hit the shelves I just had to give them a swatch. The two I fell in love with were Pink Lemonade and Juicy Papaya. Pink Lemonade is a very soft icey pink with slight blue undertones. This gives just a slight kiss of colour and is perfect if you want to pop a pink on your lips that isn’t too OTT. I have been wearing this everyday since getting it and whenever I can’t decide what to pop on, this is my pick. The second colour is a more coral offering. Juciy Papaya is a moisturised sheer colour that gives a soft coral blush to the lips. I have quite a few coral lip options now and this is by far the most wearable if you want to add some colour whilst keeping it fairly neutral.

The last item I picked up (I blame you 3 for 2) is the Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment. Recently I have found that on the second day post hair wash my hair becomes very dry and fluffy. My previous sleek main that was soft and shiny is replaced by a dry and frizzy mess that won’t style. I don’t often use conditioning treatments on my hair but am hoping that the addition of one will help to keep my tresses more sleek. I haven’t tried this out yet but so far I have heard good things and anything that claims to restore 2 years worth of damage is worth trying in my books!
