Ah the ByTerry Touch-Expert Advanced. Even just your name sounds as glorious as you are. I have had my eye on ByTerry for a while and it is one of my go to counters whenever I find myself in a Space.NK. Their products are so luxurious and I have had my eye on a few of their pieces for a while, one being their concealers. As I’m sure you all know I have built up over the years a hatred for under my eyes. Every time I look in the mirror all I can see are bags and dark circles. After a trip to New York last year I picked up the Bobby Brown Corrector and this paired with the Bare Minerals Well Rested Eye Brightener Powder was my saviour. All my eye troubles were gone but then summer came around! I was finding that the Bobby Brown Corrector sat too heavy on my skin and the thought of packing a powder on top was the last thing I wanted to do! So instead off I popped to my trust Space.NK to give some concealers a try!

I had heard about the Touch-Expert Advanced from Millie Mackintosh from Made in Chelsea. She said that this was her go to under eye concealer so I knew I had to give it a try! It comes in an impressive 6 shades and sits at a slightly staggering price of £28.50. I did try out ByTerry’s other offering in the form of the Touche Veloutte but this was more pricy, at £35, and came in less colours. The Touche Veloutte is more of an all over concealer and the shades were far too yellow for my skin. The Touch-Expert Advanced was just perfect. The shade 2 Nude matches my skin tone perfectly, the concealer sits lightly on my skin and blends in like a dream whilst hiding all my problem areas.

The above is a before shot of under my eye. Now I must warn you this doesn’t look as bad as usual (however the sales assistant at Space.NK did laugh at me for inventing these under eye problems as she said I had none!) I put this all down to the help of my Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair Cream* (review here) and Origins VitaZing!

This concealer is a pen clicker style product and I apply one click to the back of my hand and then dab the product around my eye with my ring finger.

Voila bags be gone! I haven’t used any setting powder in the above photo and have popped a tiny bit of the Pixi Glow Fairy Dust (review here) to my tear duct. I love the finished result and think it is well worth the money. I have used it every day since getting and the lightness of the product has made such a difference in these hot summer days.
