Best of Hair & Body – 2015

hair & body 2015 favourites

One section of the favourites group that tends to be forgotten about are those products that live under the category of hair & body. You see I don’t often switch up these items, not testing the latest launch each month or discovering a new fave throughout the year, instead I find what I like and stay loyal to the products I love. It may not leave for the most inspiring bunch of favourites but you know the items that feature are heavily tried & tested and much loved.

Bleaching my hair leaves for dry and frizzy ends, especially when I’m known to love a can of dry shampoo or three. To keep everything in check I go in with the Macadamia Deep Repair Mask once a week which quite literally transforms my locks to butter. All that damage is instantly reversed and not only that, it smells darn good too. Before styling with heat, more heat and a bit more heat I go in with an extra conditioning step, aka the Oribe Gold Lust Oil. This is just a sample box size however I’ve fallen in love. Able to keep my dried out hair smooth and sleek without weighing it down, high fives all round.

When it comes to body there has been one brand that’s the leader of the bunch, Jo Malone. Thanks to some duty free purchases throughout 2015 I have the Velvet Rose & Oud Dry Body Oil alongside the Mimosa & Cardamon Body Créme in my life. If you are looking for an oil that is scented like a perfume whilst lasting throughout the day on your skin, you need a Jo Malone Dry Body Oil in your life. I can guarantee that even after a couple of applications of this Velvet Rose & Oud you will find the scent linger on your skin come evening. Instead, if you want to luxe up your moisturising routine pick up a body créme. Again, this contains the same Jo Malone fragrance we know and love, however it means you are also left with super soft skin throughout the day. Honestly, I’ve never smelt so good ;)
