Each NYE, when the clock strikes midnight, I wonder how the new set of 12 months could possibly be any busier then the last. I need to stop setting this challenge as without fail it manages to happen!  I walked into 2015 with a bundle of hopes, paired with an uncertain outlook over the year. Yes there was the usual fitness, flat, job resolutions however I was starting the year off with a pretty fresh slate.

As the months unfolded our family home remained on the market. I finally headed up the Shard for a birthday treat for my mum and took a trip to see Billy Elliot. There was a lot of restaurant visits throughout 2015, realising the best way to catchup with friends whilst eating steak obvs was to book in a Friday night. I quickly got through my ‘restaurant wish list’ whilst finding some new gems.

I went to my very first Psycle class! Realising that the gym just wasn’t something I was enjoying or willing to make time for I switched things up by attending this full body workout in Soho. The energetic instructors, fast paced class set to an awesome playlist was just up my street and I could book in classes around my schedule. Not just that, I actually enjoyed them #groundbreaking

Work. What can I say! I started a new role, got pulled onto a project which sucked up my summer and worked some of the longest and most intense hours I ever have. Ultimately I learnt a heck of a lot about myself, the industry and found some incredible ability to juggle 16 hour days alongside blogging full time, a new YouTube channel and oh, all whilst still heading to Psycle each week (no wonder I crashed at the end of it!) Adrenaline is some powerful drug!

2015 was also the year of unlimited prosecco brunches – seriously if you haven’t tried one book in for it stat! A great way to celebrate a special occasion or simply pass an afternoon ;) I also can’t forget the incredible holidays I experienced, a trip to Santa Monica & Huntington and also to a week out in Dubai. I’m beyond lucky to visit such magical places.

Onto the New Year. In a new family home which won’t necessarily be my home for much longer alongside creeping every so quickly up to that next big milestone (luckily still need another NYE before that happens!) With a best friends wedding coming up soon, my first bridesmaid and hen party gig off the back of that it’s yet another busy start to the New Year. Instead of making resolutions I’m just going to say “grab life by the balls” who knows what it is going to bring!
