The Sunday Share – Weekend Beauty Essentials

weekend beauty essentials

As I mentioned briefly in yesterday’s post, I’m in Manchester! I got the train up yesterday morning and spent the evening with Holland & Barrett discovering some of their products whilst being treated to a delicious dinner. Whenever an evening away presents itself in my calendar I know it’s time to bust out the minis, pack up the makeup bags and try to cram as many skincare items into a single space. No matter how short of a trip I might be taking, you can count on me to still bring enough for an entire week!

Starting with non-essential items, I knew I would want a cheeky bath after the journey to relax, have a bit of a pamper and freshen up. For this I popped in my Neom Tranquillity Bath & Shower Oil* alongside a mini L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil and Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Usage Dry Oil. Nothing like a luxurious bath to kickstart your day! For skincare it was all about Tatcha and Oskia. From my mini Tatcha skincare bag I brought the PURE One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil* and Radiant Deep Brightening Serum*. Both of these left my skin looking incredibly luminous and radiant, I may have even spent a couple of moments in front of the mirror prancing around whilst my skin glowed in the light.

Alongside the Tatcha products I also packed a couple of Oskia sachets that I’ve picked up over the past couple of months. Their Nutri-Active Day CreamBedtime Beauty Boost and Super 16 Serum came along with me to help keep my skin in tip top shape. It was the first time I’ve tried out any of these skincare bits from Oskia and, as I have been with everything else from the brand, I was left impressed! The Day Cream left my skin hydrated, supple and smooth however it was the Bedtime Beauty Boost that really caught my attention. It’s mix of vitamins, peptides and omegas created a formula that sunk into the skin to repair and renew overnight. I awoke to glowing skin that looked rested and rejuvenated for the day ahead.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who manages to overpack even for a day away! It’s okay if they are all essentials…right!?
