The Sunday Share #70 Fuss Free Makeup Menu

sundayshare

Weekends are my chill time. Those rare two days when I strip back my makeup, opt for the same baggy old Topshop tee and run around care free. Although working in a creative industry encourages a relaxed dress code, during week is when I spend that extra time to make myself look presentable and more importantly, awake. Come weekend that all goes out the window and instead I opt for a fuss free makeup menu that takes no time to apply and ensures I can spend the rest of my time frolicking around.

For base it has to be my all time favourite no makeup makeup look, the Diorskin Nude BB Cream in Fair 002. With the perfect amount of coverage that blends in seconds this always leaves my skin looking fresh and radiant. To add some warmth and hint of a faux glow the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Days gets called to action. With the gradient bronze to highlight shade in the pan, a couple of swirls with a fluffy brush gives your face dimension and glow all in one application.

A pop of colour onto the cheeks with the blush I’m still obsessed, hello you beautiful Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove. With base done it’s onto eyes keeping things fuss free with with Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in Norma Jean. A long-lasting cream shadow that I blend out with a fluffy brush or my finger if I’m in a hurry, paired with the Maybelline Lash Sensational and Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Chocolate I’m good to go. Finally, a glossy bold lip. To distract from any tired bags that are lingering the Maybelline Colour Elixir in 400 Alluring Coral* pulls focus whilst keeping the look fresh and bright.

The Dior BB creme is lovely. Have you tried the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser?

Beautiful rosy look! What is your take on the Eyes to Mesmerise? A blogger I trust recently found that it creases in a deal breaking way, and I was a bit surprised because on me it doesn’t crease (any more than Chanel or Tom Ford cream shadow does on my hooded eyes….). Also (it’s 20 question day) what work do you do, if I may ask.

    • See a couple of people have now asked me this and I honestly don’t find it to be that much of a problem – shadows usually crease on me which I am used to but I didn’t find that these were any worse then other cream shadows I’ve tried :) xx

  • Even your fuss free makeup is stunning! You may have just pushed me to buy the Diorskin Nude BB cream, it sounds so dreamy :)

Are the CT Eyes to Mesmerise long lasting? I’ve been hearing mixed reviews?

    • I personally find them to hold up pretty well – shadows usually crease on me which I’m used to but I haven’t notice any bad problems with these :) xx
