lip balm

Over the past five days I have been suffering with some pretty unhappy lips. Combining cold weather and a slight accident with some chemical exfoliator (got a little slap happy and took it over my lips which they did not enjoy!) they have been rough, red, sore and in need of a lotta love from my favourite lip balms. From the everyday to the super nourishing there is quite a selection I’ve got on my hands but each of them have been utilised in a bid to restore my lips to their once happy state.

PapayaGold Paw Paw Moisturising Balm – for only £5.99 this has been my everyday fixer. Religiously stowed away in my handbag or on my desk at work it’s enriched Bio Active Manuka Honey 20+ is quite slippy on the lips but perfect when you need a hit of nourishment. To sooth and relieve the irritation I can see this getting used up to the last drop.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask – a Stateside addition for when you need some serious lip maintenance, this works overnight to reverse any damage or dryness. A mini workout in itself to get the product out the tube this is super thick in consistency but means you awaken with soft and nourished lips.

The Body Shop Aloe Lip Treatment – don’t want to get your hands grubby applying your lip balm? Pick up this Body Shop tube to give a non greasy kick of moisture to your lips. Similar in consistency to the PapayaGold this glides onto the lips to leave them supple and smooth for the rest of the day.

LipGlam Natural Lanolin Lip Balm* – last but by no means least, this multipurpose natural treatment gives up to eight hours of hydration and can be used on cuticles, split ends or dry skin. With the key ingredient being lanolin it gets quickly absorbed by the skin to provide intense nourishment that lasts throughout the day.
