This Week I’ve Been… #46

Tired.com. What a miserable bunch of weekly updates for the start of 2015 aye ;) For some reason busy starts to the New Year always seem to shock me. The time off over the holidays is blissful as coming back to a schedule that’s full steam ahead can be daunting and a lot to handle. Here’s hoping for calmer waters ahead! I’ve been sticking to Dry January these past few weeks (bar a friends birthday) and we are all heading out tonight for the celebrations. Two days out of 31 isn’t too bad right!? Can’t complain when it’s an excuse to get glammed up and dance those troubles away.

This Week I’ve Been…

Spending cultured Sundays at the Saatchi Gallery – with a free gallery a mere hop, skip and a jump away it’s easy to forget about the delights London has to offer. On a chilly winter’s afternoon I got bundled up and spent my afternoon snooping around this Saatchi Gallery. Taking in all the pieces of art and installations whilst snapping away on my camera so professional ;)

Wrapping up in my new super snuggly scarf – it has gotten bitterly cold here in London so a new scarf was in order. This huge snood from Banana Republic keeps me seriously warm and also doubles up as a bit of a blanket when I’m sat at my desk at work!

Falling in love with this new Clinique duo – with contouring and highlighting taking the beauty world by storm it’s no surprise that brands are bringing out their version of chiseled perfect cheekbones. Although this contour shade is still work in progress I adore the highlighter stick. Reaching for it daily it gives a hint of shimmer on the high points of my face

Shedding a tear at the cinema – last night it was finally time to see The Theory of Everything, a truly breathtaking film. A tear might have been shed over the truly captivating story which was testament to the fact it managed to keep me awake on a Friday night

  • I love that scarf you’re wearing and I cannot wait to read your review on the Clinque chubby sticks. They are not available in the US yet. Hope February is less stressful and less tiring for you!

    • I’m going on Tuesday, glad to hear (even more) good things about this file :)

  • Oh yeah, it’s been super cold here as well. But I personally love winter so I don’t mind :-)

  • I love super snuggly scarves! The bigger and snugglier the better. Yours does look like one I would love so need to check out Banana Republic :) xx
