July Favourites

july favourites

Warning – this bunch of favourites are a goodun. They are firm, firm favourites to the point that I would have been lost without them in the month of July. They have become staples in my routine and they are all pretty much verging onto HG status. I know, bold claims going on over here people but I have put my love and trust into each of these items and they haven’t let me down thus far. The love is strong and you may just find yourself wanting to add each one of these to your wishlist by the end of the post ;)

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask – Why oh why must the best items have to be so darn expensive? Just my luck aye ;)  I picked up this mask as part of an introductory kit to Omorovicza and it is hands down my favourite item I’ve tried from the brand. I am a big fan of clay based masks but this is the most clarifying one I have used, it makes the most noticeable difference to my skin even after just once application. Any blemishes or areas of irritation are reduced and I find it helps to improve the overall quality of my skin. With this little pot almost all used up I may just may have to save the pennies and treat myself to the full size one, besides, my skin would be so upset if I didn’t ;)

Josie Maran Coconut Water Eyeshadow – Could I rave about this eyeshadows any more? Oh here we go again then! Something about this innovative shadow liquid/cream hybrid not only has me fascinated, it leaves my lids awash with a gorgeous colour that lasts all day. Quick to apply the liquid drys to a cream consistency meaning it’s a dream to blend. This shade above called Playa Del Pink has been on my lids almost everyday in July and paired with their bronzy offering it’s a match made in smokey eye heaven.

Paul & Joe Liquid Eye Liner – Another shocking mention here as it’s the only eyeliner I’ve ever raved about, seriously guys, it is that good. Before this liner entered my life I would fear a flick. I have dabbled in gel, pencil and even powder liners but everything proved to be too much hassle and faff and left me looking like a panda. That was until this Paul & Joe Liner joined me and it’s been cat eye every day, I know, it’s a revelation! The nib is super fine meaning you get a precise line and the pigmented black colour doesn’t drag across you lid. The easiest liner I’ve ever used and I’m already onto my second pen.

Alpha H Liquid Gold – With my skin behaving like a naughty teenager recently I brought back one of those game changing skincare items that I knew would knock everything back into shape. Boy was I right as as soon as I got back into the routine of using the magical Liquid Gold three times a week those bumps and blemishes across my chin are almost a thing of the past. Alpha H, I am so sorry I forgot about you, I promise to never to do it again as seeing the incredible results you have on my skin, I know you are an important part of my skincare routine.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush – I love this blusher. A Lot. It has a hint of pink and peachy goodness, flecks of subtle shimmer all wrapped up in a rather sexy gold compact. Does it last throughout the day as well? But of course. This blusher has knocked all my others to the back of the cupboard where they have been gathering dusk and looking on in shame and envy. This blush just does it all and adds the most flattering glow to my large and in charge cheeks.
