Nars Sheer Glow in Light2 Mont Blanc £31-

Today is a rather momentous day over here on AGAABB, take a seat and breathe deeply as I am about to get all Nars Sheer Glow on you. I know, did you ever think I would cave and buy this foundation? I honestly thought this day would never happen but thanks to some incredibly good colour matching by my favourite sales assistant ever, here I am holding a bottle with a mahoosive grin on my face. Now, this foundation is by no means a breakthrough item or something new on the scene, in fact, this is a pretty old foundation and has become something of a cult classic. You have the people that swear by this stuff and refuse to use anything else and then you have the sceptics like myself that wonder how something called ‘Sheer Glow’ could ever be suitable for their combination skin. Well I have been converted and seen the light as this is on b-e-a-utiful base and a staple for any makeup lovers collection.

I would call this a medium coverage foundation that can be built up to a fuller level if you desire. The finish is satin, it leaves your skin looking and feeling natural yet hides away any redness and does a darn good job of covering those pesky blemishes. I find this to be the most breathable  fuller coverage foundation I have tried and for something that is a tad heavier, it doesn’t translate that way once applied. My skin is left looking radiant and even a small layer blended out well works a dream. I wear the share Mont Blanc which is a great match for my paler skin tone. I mix it with a bronzing base for the summer and this lasts throughout a day at work without requiring too many touch ups. Overall it gets a big thumbs up from me and I am glad to finally have this as part of my makeup stash.

FYI – although it adds to the already hefty price tag, make sure you pick up a pump too!
