Getting Country

Not wanting to visit Vegas without experiencing a show, Mum and I donned our cowboy hats and headed to the Shania Twain show at the Colosseum, Caesars Palace. This may have involved a quick pit stop via the slot machines, a sneaky detour via Sephora (look I have a problem okay :P) and a spot of refuelling at the Cheesecake Factory. The show was incredible. Having never experienced an American concert before, let alone one in Vegas, I had no idea what to expect but they really pulled out all the stops. From horses on stage to elaborate sets and a camp fire sing along with members of the audience, the show couldn’t be more country but was a really fun night.

To surpress our sweet tooth on the way back to the hotel we finally headed to the much hyped Jean Philippe Patisserie in the Bellagio which boasts the world’s largest chocolate fountain. In Vegas everything costs an arm and a leg so don’t expect a cheap treat, however you can’t deny that this is one delicious crepe. With only two nights left in Vegas the end of the trip is looming, I may have already tried to conjure up ways to stay for longer but I’m pretty sure if I do my bank will be calling me and shouting at me on the phone ;) Today we have a very exciting excursion planned which may just involve heading up to the sky….more will be revealed tomorrow!
